   I had ordered this locket for myself from Amazon. First of all the locked I received seemed smaller than the image that is advertised on Amazon, so without something placed next to it for reference it’s hard to gage the size of things merely by a stand alone picture. Second, the details look better in the advertised picture than in real life, so again do not be deceived by the picture.

   I have also bought other jewelry from Amazon and have made a similar complaint, so I feel overall buying jewelry from Amazon or any online dealer may not be such a good idea. When it comes to jewelry get it from a jewelry store where you can see it in person and can see how you look wearing it.

   This locket is not anything special, which is unfortunate, because I purchaed it as a gift. Although it was a good deal, I would suggest spending the extra few dollars and buying something different.
