It is a cool silky touch to the skin. It is soft yet not wrinkly. Great price for the quality.
I was hoping for good quality sheets but was very disappointed with these. Even though I washed them four times upon discovering how rough they were, there was no improvement and they even seemed rougher after the washings. I used fabric softener and dryer sheets in an effort to help the situation.
Overall, this product is wonderful. I’m a bit of a sheet freak and have all sorts of sheets in my house. Expensive, inexpensive, flannel, low thread count, high thread count, silky smooth, rough and itchy… These arrived and I took them out of the packaging and was very impressed by the weight of them. They are smoother and softer than I thought they would be, but…holy moly…can we say wrinkles? I washed and dried them, knowing from the reviews that they would need pressing. But, I didn’t know just to what extent they would need it. I was ironing all night (because I purchased the matching duvet set, as well). These aren’t just “a light pressing will do” sort of set…it’s a “haul out the big guns and steam the ever loving tar out of them” set.
Once washed and ironed, this is, indeed, a gorgeous sheet set, but let me just say this loud and clear…I am not looking forward to ironing these every week. The maintenance is what has knocked two stars off of this review/rating.
I have a seven foot long bed so finding sheets is often a problem particularly as this is a twin size bed. I ordered one set thinking that, at best, they’d be acceptable but they were far more than that. The extra material in the fitted sheet allowed it to fit perfectly and the oversize top sheet had room to both be tucked in at the bottom and turned back at the top. After one washing they were well on their way to being a sturdy but soft covering. My housekeeper loves them as they maintain their color and are very durable.(This issue of durability is important as I have two cats with claws who-it often seems-romp all night but no damage as of this writing.) I’ve had mine for a year, plus another set in a different color I ordered later. And I’m back to buy yet another set to use on a bed in one of my guestrooms. I also appreciate that you can buy additional pillow cases, something of a rarity with most sets of sheets.
Package was labeled as twin. After laundering before use, the sheets did not fit. The label on the sheets was marked “queen” and because they had been laundered and the packaging discarded, I am stuck with queen sheets instead of the twins I ordered and paid for.
