These sheets are very comfortable. Not as soft as I was hoping but definitely a great price.
I have had these sheets for three months, slept on them every night. I think they are great. Yeah, they are wrinkled, but it’s a bed – not a blouse. When the bed is made, no one sees the wrinkles. I find them soft enough, certainly not scratchy. A bit thick/stiff, but I equate that with strength and durability so I’m not complaining. One thing I love about these sheets is that the top sheet is very large, hangs over the queen size bed by over a foot on each side. That means no more fighting for enough sheet to cover both people in the bed. I have an average size mattress and box spring so I assume people with the pillowtops or deep mattresses will like these as well. The fitted sheet stays put, doesn’t slip and doesn’t leave the sides half covered. I like the mint color I ordered.
I consider myself a demanding individual when it comes to all things purchased. Quality means everything to me and I will pay more to get more. I didn’t have to pay more to get more with my Pinzon 400 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets. I received my twin set the other day and I couldn’t be happier. They are beautifully made and are just perfect especially considering the amazingly low $36.00 that I paid for them. My sister and I are big fans of Amazon and always achieve satisfaction with all of our purchases. She is the one who suggested Amazon for my sheet search. I’m glad I listened to her.
I am quite taken back by all of the negative things said about these sheets by some of the recent commenters. In my opinion, they are easily the best quality sheets that I have owned. For those who find such failings, I’d suggest that you purchase, say, Hudson Park twin sheets at $250.00 per set. I have done loads of research into what makes for a good sheet and what constitutes a misleading marketing attempt and these fall firmly into the former. The flat sheet is extra long, the fitted extra deep and these 400 thread count sheets are as tight, silky and soft as those marketed at three times the count and five times the cost. That is why I have come to trust the quality of Amazon’s proprietary brand-name offerings. They obviously work hard to provide the best quality for a low price. Again, we’re talking $36.00 with free shipping. What’s to gripe about here? Really!
Received these today and am a bit disappointed. I opened the package and gave the sheets a good feel. Although the quality of the stitching and fabric is defiantly noticeably higher, they didn’t feel any softer than my WalMart bought, no thread count specified, cotton-poly blend sheets. I figured, maybe they need to be washed to “bring out the softness”. Nope. Still feel the same as my cheap sheets. Definatly won’t be buying any more of these, but this is my first high thread-count sheet set, so I’ll hold off my judgement on so called high-quality sheets until I get a more expensive (maybe a higher thread count as well) set.
The size of the sheets is perfect, this is the only reason I gave it two stars instead of one. The fitted bottom sheet fits my thick (14″) mattress with room to spare, and the non-fitted sheet is extra long and much wider than I’m used to. There’s over two feet of extra sheet on the foot of the bed and plenty of tuck-in length on the sides.
We have recently paid more than double the price of the Pinzon 400-Thread-Count 100% Egyptian Cotton Hemstitch Queen Sheet Set, Maize, but it near impossible to tell the difference. This was the best sheet deal we have found.
