I love this! It’s so lightweight and easy to wash and take on and off the bed. I had been using one of those giant zippered mattress covers and a thick, quilted mattress pad. The zippered thing ripped terribly and crinkled like a trash bag and the quilted mattress pad was hot and bulky (I use it as a back-up in the winter). There is only one corner seam, so there’s no wrong way to put it on (I think it can be hard to tell with some king bedding). Some of the stitches on the corner seam are starting to come loose, but I wash it pretty often so I’ll just reinforce the seam by hand. It dries quickly, too, and doesn’t hoard water like my quilted pad. It doesn’t make any obnoxious crinkle-y noises and isn’t hot.
When we purchased our new King Size Bed the retail store tried to sell us a mattress protector but they wanted almost $100.00 dollars. I knew I could find one cheaper. My goal was to find one like we had on the bed in our guest room, even though we paid $60.00 for it from a local retail store. This LinenSpa Mattress Protector is exactly like the one we had purchased but 1/3 the cost. It’s very light weight but gives all the protection you would ever need. It’s not hot and it does not crinkle when you move in your bed. Of course the service from Amazon has always been fantastic and I will continue to buy from them for this reason.
I like these mattress protectors a lot. I have purchased five of these in the twin size and just ordered a sixth in the queen size. They are plenty deep and the side walls are made of fabric, not the paper-like material that tears that some have. So far no spills, so I don’t know about the waterproof capability. Comfortable sleeping. I would give them a five star rating, but they haven’t stood the test of time yet. And how does one gauge the dust mite feature?
The cover was easy to put on and stays in place. I have had no problems whatsoever. I bought it because of the mite protection as I have allergies.
These work great! No complaints. I use them for my toddlers bed and I will say they are waterproof and because of that I thought they would be a bit noisy, they’re not. Ive had ones that claim to do the same thing and it sounds as if your sleeping on grocery bags. I liked them enough to buy the larger size for my pillows!
