If you want unadulterated iced green tea, this is it! I don’t like citrus added or any flavored iced tea, so this is one of the best plain iced green teas available. I hope Amazon starts to stock the more robust variation of this brand (dark green label) and the one liter bottles too.
The just right quantity of Japanese Green tea to be able to either drink at one sitting or save for later.
It tastes great because it is not sweet.
I lived in Japan for two years as a Nova English teacher and I quickly fell in love with the wide variety of cold teas available in Japan. Oi Ocha became one of my favorites due to the light flavor. It’s bitter with a slightly grassy flavor but doesn’t overwhelm like the stronger, darker green teas do. Just to explicitly confirm this: this tastes exactly like the Oi Ocha you’d find in Japan.
Why order this tea from Amazon? If you’ve never experienced real green tea, you need to give it a try. If you buy green tea bags, it’s not the same. If you buy powdered green tea, it’s not even close! Oi Ocha is brewed with whole tea leaves. It’s light, refreshing, and healthy. I’m so happy this is available easily and at a low cost here.
Basically, if you want green tea the way it’s meant to be drank – without “honey” or sugary flavors, without high fructose corn syrup, without ANY kind of added flavor – then you owe yourself, your health, and your palette real Oi Ocha!

This is the #1 seller Tea in Japan while there are tons of tea options. so i think it says a lot. It’s realllllyyy good tea, from a tea drinker’s point of view. It has the good green tea flavors w every gulp of it, you can enjoy that. Since I love green tea’s flavor so much, now I am so happy to see they now offer a “darker” Oi Ocha version, stronger little bitter flavor. It has a darker green packaging. i hope you enjoy this and would love to see this tea more places!
