Makes a solid cup of coffee. I wouldn’t say it’s one of the best tasting coffees I’ve had, but it’s definitely consistent. Every cup tastes exactly the same.

For those who love a strong bold coffee, this is the one for you. It has a wonderful taste with plenty of flavor. This is my favorite out of all the K-cups I have tried.

  3. JOY DILORETO says:

If you like smooth, strong coffee, this is the perfect blend. I make it in the 5 oz. cups and enjoy every sipping minute. For me, just a touch of cream makes it my drink of the day.

  4. Layin' Low says:

This is a very full flavored coffee with just the right bite. It is truly one of my favorite brews.

Since I got my Keurig Brewer I’ve been going through sample boxes of lots of different K-Cups to determine which will be my “go-to” brew. I always brew my cup using the setting for the least amount of water on the machine because I like my coffee strong and always need to do that even with K-cups branded as “extra bold.” I was shocked when I tasted my morning cup brewed from Coffee People’s “Bold Kona Blend.” Yes, it’s a bold cup of coffee, but I couldn’t detect any of the flavor notes I am used to tasting in a cup of Kona. Smooth, mellow, sweet and nutty, almost chocolatey are what I am expecting, even in a bolder roast. None of which I taste in this K-cup. The packaging says 100% arabica on it but nowhere that I noticed does it list the percentage that is Kona, which is supposed to be a minimum of 10% tp be called “Kona blend” so I’m not sure how much real Kona is in this. This won’t be my choice of Kona K-cps.
