Chain was so fine, I doubt it would of lasted long, especially for the price I paid for it. The pennant was not of the high quality I expected either, for it also was very fragile and thin. Thank you.
I was looking for a sapphire necklace to wear at my wedding. I wanted one that would be small enough not to be overwhelming, but large enough to be seen. And I didn’t want to end up spending $200.
This necklace had a price drop, and I had a gift certificate, so I ordered it. Other than the chain being extremely flimsy and delicate (which is almost always the case when you order a pendant), the item itself would actually have been worth the full price I didn’t pay. The sapphires are a great shade of blue and the more-or-less 1″ length is just about right. The twists are also more three-dimensional than they look in the photo, with the cross-over places being separated — one distinctly above or below the other — rather than attached. At first I thought it was odd but actually when wearing it, that creates a nice depth and shape for the necklace.
Positives: The pendant itself is very pretty and the exact size I thought it would be.
Negatives: I am very disappointed with the quality of the chain – it seems very cheap to me.
All in all, I’m okay with my purchase, although I will probably purchase a nicer chain as I will be giving this to my mom on my wedding day.
